About Red Roof Retreat

 

Since 2001, Red Roof Retreat, a Niagara Region Charity, has provided opportunities for children and young adults with special needs to participate in summer camp programs, day programs, and educational programs at our fully accessible location in Niagara on the Lake.
Respite services are also available for ages 3 through to 21 years.

 

Red Roof Retreat provides respite, recreation and education for children and young adults with a variety of special needs, including:
• summer day camp for ages 5 to 21
• respite services each weekend
• daytime activities for young adults
• continuing education for care givers and professionals
• educational school trips for all ages

• Horseback riding, Teen Nights and Saturday Day Program

 

Future Plans 
- therapeutic experiences, including music, OT and PT camps
- seminars and training for family members, care

   providers and professionals

-completion of Phase 2 and 3 of an accessible playground

-increased respite availability.

-development of our riding program.

-summer camp for preschoolers.

- partnerships with individuals and organizations

   interested in providing exceptional learning

   opportunities for people with special needs

Red Roof Retreat provides quality recreational, educational and respite services to children, youth and young adults with special needs and their families.
Red Roof Retreat will develop a place where relationships are developed, awareness created
and bonds are nurtured through understanding and respect for
each individual’s special needs.

We create opportunities for relationships to develop and for skills to grow.
